Sprouted from the same hunger for work that “leans, opposes, hurries” as our publication, Chaleur Magazine, Chaleur Press approaches the work of binding together powerful words with all humility and respect.

We deal directly with new and established authors that weave into their craft voices that are unapologetic. We primarily publish poetry and essay anthologies with broadly solicited content, from the multi-awarded veteran writer to the student fresh from a first writing seminar. Three months out of the year, authors can submit fiction and non-fiction manuscripts for consideration by our editors. 

Chaleur Press does not discriminate against polarizing and underrepresented perspectives, but we do not publish content advocating violence, crime, discrimination, or intolerance of any kind.
